GalaxyFest, Part Cha’

Cha’ is two for those of you not fluent in Klingon πŸ˜‰

Actually, I’m not fluent in Klingon but I am fluent in Google! πŸ˜€

For part wa’ (one), click here. Just fair warning, I totally geek out over my picture with Denise Crosby, which is now hanging in my office πŸ˜€

Anyway, I thought I would share more pictures from GalaxyFest 2012. This weekend was so fun and amazing. I was seriously in my nerd element. Sort of like watching a show about wild animals in their natural habitat vs the zoo.

Because of this con I am more stoked about ComicCon. And also because of this con, I have decided to dress up for ComicCon this summer in Denver. I won’t tell you what I’m going to dress up as quite yet. As we get closer to June, I’ll reveal parts of my costume and see if anyone can guess what I’m going as!

And now, pics of this epic event in Colorado Springs:

These guys were so awesome! They each had a sonic screwdriver. When they found out this was my first scifi convention, they gave me hugs. Awwwwwww!

Oops!

Perhaps I shouldn’t have made that crack about Vader and his momma…

Rebecca Moesta and Kevin J Anderson

Mark Stone and I got primo location right next to best-selling author Kevin J Anderson and his wife, Rebecca Moesta. They were both very nice! Hope I can have the career these two have had!

What scifi con would be complete without a Browncoat? This made me want to go watch Firefly again. Wish that series would have continued more than a single season. We were robbed I tell ya!

This steampunk pair were two of my favs of the con. Alyssa won the costume contest AND she also said she would help me design some custom items for my cool costume for ComicCon.

There were no shortage of costumes at the convention. Everywhere you looked there were Star Fleet officers, members of the Empire and the Rebellion, those in steampunk gear, and various other bounty hunters. I was in geek heaven I tell ya!

Looks AWESOME! I love cons. I’m going to a Star Trek one this May and then New York Comic Con in October. I’ll probably be in a Star Fleet uniform for May. Last year, I went in a steampunk outfit for Comic Con. People loved it. I think I definitely want to start traveling to different cons. Great way to meet people.

I’m doing a steampunk costume for ComicCon. I can’t WAIT to start unveiling it to everyone a piece at a time πŸ˜€

Also, with your use of Klingon, you are officially my new hero. πŸ˜€

I can’t see the pictures, but it sounds like you had a great time! πŸ™‚ I can’t say I’m a fan of Cons or Steampunk or comic books..LOL. BUT…I’m a fan of YOURS, so I’m glad you had a good time! πŸ™‚
