Scary Characters From Doctor Who

In addition to the Doctors and various Companions over the years, Doctor Who has also introduced us to a plethora of aliens and supporting cast. Some are silly and cute (Adipose anyone?) but there’s also a lot that are just downright scary as hell.

The Weeping Angels

These guys look like ordinary, harmless statues. But turn your head or even blink, and they will turn into something that will shock you!

The Empty Child

This poor lost soul will melt your heart as he asks you if you’ve seen him mummy. But one touch and you’ll end up just like him…empty.

Scarecrows

The Family of Blood is after the Doctor and his Time Lord essence to extend their own lives. This family has the ability to animate various things to be their servants, including these terrifying scarecrows. Awesome…NOT!

Racnoss

This is just too much for the arachnophobe *shudder*

The Silent

Now you see him, then you forget as soon as you look away. You may forget about encountering these scary dudes but the stuff they said to you while you were looking at them will sure as hell remain in your head.

Vashta Nerada

Microscopic creatures that can create a shadow when present in large enough numbers. Not so bad, right? Except that these little bastards just happen to be carnivorous and can strip the flesh from your bones in seconds. Nice.

These are just some of my favorite scary encounters. What about you??

The Weeping Angels are the best and worst of all of them. They’re the only ones that actually bother me. Man, I love em. 🙂

Weeping Angels are definitely terrifying. I also am disturbed by the empty child.
